Giving Love: DTC Outreach Program 2026 Brings Hope and Care to the Community
With compassion, generosity, and a shared commitment to service, the teaching and non-teaching personnel of Danao Technological College (DTC) successfully conducted the Giving Love: Outreach Program 2026 at Sta. Fe Elementary School on February 18, 2026.
Centered on the theme “Sowing Seeds of Love & Hope; Cultivating a Community of Care,” the outreach brought together DTC personnel, children, parents, and local stakeholders for a meaningful day of service and community engagement.
Turning Compassion into Action
As part of DTC's extension program, the initiative featured three community-centered projects: Soup for the Soul, Abag sa Kaalam, and Share-a-Cloth.
Each activity represented a different way of reaching out to the community—from providing nourishment and supporting children's learning to sharing essential resources with families.
Beyond the material assistance provided, the program created opportunities for genuine interaction between the DTC community and the people it serves.
Sowing Seeds of Love and Hope
The outreach demonstrated that meaningful community service does not always require grand gestures. Simple acts of kindness, when carried out with sincerity and collective effort, can bring joy, encourage hope, and create a lasting impact.
